Nail salon rant!!

Ok I'm about to vent!

I went to a nail salon today to get some waxing done before I go back to work. I was in the middle of getting my brows done in a small room when another tech brings in another client puts my stuff on the floor and starts to prep this girl to do services on her. so now there are four people in a tiny room and I say "why are there other people in the room?" no response so I say "I'm not comfortable with anyone else in the room" and they act like I'm crazy and make the girl leave. Granted I was not getting anything revealing waxed but I don't feel like that's an experience I want to share with others. I guess next time I'll have to be clear from the outset but I don't understand why it's not common sense.

Ps first iPad post!

Today's Plan

Hello All,

Today is my last day at home due to the plague. I was supposed to be off today though so it's a full five day week for me after this. I plan on:

Having a cup of tea -I still have a crazy nagging cough
Showering etc
Dropping Mr Bones off at daycare because he is so bored with my slow pace
Banking
Groceries -at a slow pace....and a minimum of things are needed as my Organic Box delivery is on Wed
Bringing them in and planning this weeks lunches
and picking up Mr Bones
Cooking/Roasting some parsnips and sweet potato for dinner (maybe with a turkey sausage?)

The Plague

So one day after I start thinking about getting back to blogging to get healthy what happens? I get a crazy illness. I haven't been able to feel warm in days and I have been eating soups and tea....

An Idea

So I splurged...I used a bonus to buy myself an iPad2 -white 64gig. It should arrive in the mail today!!! I'm going to try to justify my purchase by doing it 2 Broke Girls style. Lets say it cost $800 I will subtract $2 for everyday I track all my food on the WW app and $1 for each blog post. Insert cute music here...do do do da do

I miss blogging

and I need to make healthy eating a priority.

Weird mixed up dinner:

1/2 cup of mashed potatoes -used as the base
4 carrots -the next ingredients stirfried together
5 mushrooms
1 turkey sausage
1 tbsp of bbq sauce mixed with a splash of water to make "gravy"
1/4 cup of cheddar on top -then melted

I guess I was inspired by the KFC meal bowls LOL it looks good, I'll let you know how it tastes...
